About

“Reverence is the nature of my love.”

Thich Nhat Hanh, renowned Buddhist monk and teacher

These words from Thich Nhat Hanh guide the way I experience and teach yoga — not just as a physical practice, but as a sacred relationship with life itself. They echo through every breath, every movement, every moment.

Reverence invites us to simplify, slow down, and taste all the flavours, colours, and sensations of the every day. It is the art of noticing: shifts in breath, the quiet unfolding of a thought, unnoticed sounds, and subtly changing light.

Reverence allows us to see that love is not just affection. It is devotion. Devotion to the bittersweet nature of existence, to the world’s natural rhythms, and to the quiet wisdom and instincts found within us. It allows me to provide my students with a richer, fuller, more-meaningful yoga practice.
